TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing our website, requesting a quote, entering into an agreement, or using our construction services, you (“Client”, “you”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our services.

2. SERVICES PROVIDED

Roots of Royalty Builders offers general contracting, new construction, renovations, remodeling, project management, consulting, and related construction services. A detailed scope of work will be defined in a signed agreement for each project.

3. QUOTES & CONTRACTS

  • Quotes provided are estimates and not legally binding until a formal contract is signed.

  • Project scope, materials, pricing, and timelines are set forth in individual contracts.

  • Change orders must be submitted in writing and approved by both parties. Additional costs due to change orders are the responsibility of the client.

4. PAYMENTS & INVOICING

  • A non-refundable deposit is typically required before the commencement of work.

  • Progress payments may be outlined in a milestone schedule.

  • Final payment is due upon project completion or as agreed.

  • Late payments may result in interest fees, work delays, or suspension of services.

5. PERMITS & COMPLIANCE

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client is responsible for obtaining any required permits, inspections, or approvals.

  • We comply with all applicable construction laws and building codes in the jurisdiction of the project.

  • We are not liable for project delays due to regulatory approvals or third-party actions.

6. WARRANTIES & LIABILITY

  • We offer a limited workmanship warranty for 1 year from the date of project completion.

  • Warranty does not cover:

-- Damages caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or modifications by the client.

-- Materials not supplied by Roots of Royalty Builders.

  • Our liability is limited to the total amount paid under the signed contract. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

7. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Roots of Royalty Builders, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, legal fees, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of our services, or violation of any applicable laws.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All architectural designs, drawings, renderings, and documents prepared by us remain the intellectual property of Roots of Royalty Builders unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate any agreement if:

  • Payment terms are not met.

  • Client engages in unlawful or unethical behavior.

  • Worksite is unsafe or inaccessible.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, labor strikes, government orders, pandemics, or supply shortages.

11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

  • Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Houston, Texas, unless another legal method is mutually agreed upon.

  • Both parties agree to waive any right to a jury trial.

12. AMENDMENTS

We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies agreement to the updated terms.
